SEPTEMBER ELEVENTH 2001
A Day To Remember
First and foremost our prayers go to all the families of the victims and the unaccounted ones. We pray that there will be more survivors out of the rubble than the four civilians and three firemen already recovered. This is the time to hold hands and offer support to all those who are in need. This is the American way.
As for the uncivilized barberians and the nations who harbor them, I would like to remind them of Admiral Yamamoto's famous saying when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor: "We have just awaken a sleeping giant.". They have just awaken the sleeping giant once again. Watch out. History repeats itself. I would like to quote from Senator McCain's press interview yesterday morning: "God may forgive you... we will not !".
It was so reassuring to hear President Bush say that we will hunt them down and punish them. The punishment needs to be awfully severe and hurting. In Pearl Harbor we lost over 2,000 American sailors. In New York City and Washington, D.C., the count will exceed five-fold that of Pearl Harbor. The punishment should accelerate accordingly. There are those who believe an eye for an eye is not a good policy. I agree with them when you are dealing with civilized and reasonable people. For these beasts 100 eyes for an eye is the right retaliation. That is the only way they can be tamed.
We have received a number of messages from Greece, Germany and Switzerland offering their prayers and support. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone of them for their kind sentiments. Let me assure you that we will come out of this tragedy stronger and more unified as one nation. This has been our culture and tradition for over 200 years. As for the Twin Towers they will always be remembered as the symbols of Freedom and the soul of New York City.
